Nintendo Network ID confined to single Wii U console

You cannot take your Tag with you and play on a friends console and if your console breaks you will not be able to use all your info on your next console!

This seems very short sighted as you will lose everything even if you upgrade your console or buy a different colour or smaller one in the future.

Nintendo seem years behind xbox and PS when it comes to online and what people want!

I expect they'll modify this in time, they seem to have been remarkably quick to address quite a few different concerns. It's early days, to say the least.

They intend to roll out NN IDs to the 3DS in time, as well as computers and phones. If they don't alter how the accounts work as they do now, then that won't be possible.
